Biography
Robillard is a New York based director with a number of world premieres to her credit including: HONOR AND THE RIVER by Anton Dudley at Luna Stage, ROSEMARY & I by Leslie Avayzian (co-directed with Olympia Dukakis), at MetroStage, FAST BREAK at Culture Project, NOT GOD at Luna Stage, UNSINKABLE WOMEN at The Walnut Street Theatre (which went on to a national tour), and most recently, ROSA LOSES HER FACE by Kitty Chen, produced by Queens Theatre in the Park and the Electric Theatre Company. New York credits include productions at Vital Theatre, Directors Company, Algonquin Theatre, Culture Project, Theatre for the New City, HERE, Phoenix Theatre, and First Look Theatre Company.
Regional: Walnut Street Theatre, Kennedy Center, MetroStage, Northern Stage, Luna Stage, Open Stage of Harrisburg, Gateway Playhouse, Cumberland County Playhouse, Keystone Rep, Leatherstocking Theatre and Tri-Arts. Robillard received her MFA in directing from Illinois State University and has taught acting and directing at several colleges. For the past ten years she has been working with emerging playwrights in the M.F.A. program at New York University.
